APSA Signs MoU With Kasetsart University

APSA  made formal its longstanding mutual cooperation with Thailand’s premier agriculture research institution, Kasetsart University (KU), through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Scroll down for photos.
The MoU was signed by APSA President Ms. Brenda Dossey and KU Acting President Dr. Chongrak Wachrinrat during a ceremony held at the university’s Golden Jubilee Administrative and Information Center, a stone’s throw from the APSA Secretariat Office in the Thai capital.
Also attending the ceremony on behalf of APSA were its Vice President Mr. Tahir Saleemi, Treasurer Mr. Jack Metzelaar, Executive Director Mrs. Heidi Gallant and several Officers from the APSA Secretariat. Kasetsart University was represented by Acting Assistant to the President Dr. Buncha Chinnasri and several other key faculty members.
With its Secretariat Office located on the KU Bang Khen campus for the better part of two decades, APSA has collaborated with KU on numerous agriculture research projects and events.
Most recently, the two organizations successfully collaborated on the second edition Asian Solanaceous Round Table meeting, and similar events are planned in the near future. Namely, a roundtable event dedicated to cucurbits is being penned for July 2018. Stay tuned for more details.
