Royal Seeds

Largest Range of Hybrid Vegetable Seeds

Since 1992, Haji Sons has been pioneering the introduction of hybrid seeds in Pakistan. Today, it partners with global leaders such as Bayer and East West Seeds to provide the country’s largest range of vegetable and field crop hybrids, including tomato, chili, cucumber, cauliflower, onion, watermelon, okra, rice, and wheat. The Seeds Division generates around USD 15 million annually, empowering farmers to reduce input costs, improve productivity, and enhance crop quality. Haji Sons is recognized as a one-stop solution provider, uplifting smallholder farmers with state-of-the-art technologies and quality inputs.

Royal Seedlings

State of the Art Seeds and Seedling Production Plant

Haji Sons operates Pakistan’s most advanced and fully automated seedling production unit, capable of producing 4 million seedlings per batch. Through its Royal Seedling Project, the company supplies farmers with ready-made, high-quality vegetable seedlings, eliminating germination risks and ensuring higher yields. Unlike conventional nurseries, which face up to 23% mortality, Royal Nurseries maintain a zero-mortality rate. Over 1.3 million farmers have been trained in seedling production, with 60,000 trays and 15,000 liters of peat moss distributed free of cost. Farmers using Royal Seedlings have reported up to 20% higher incomes.

Drip Irrigation

High Efficiency Irrigation Systems

With Pakistan on the brink of water scarcity, Haji Sons, in collaboration with the World Bank and the Punjab Government, introduced High Efficiency Irrigation Systems (HEIS) such as drip and sprinkler irrigation. These systems save up to 70% water compared to conventional methods while improving crop yields. Over the last decade, more than 5,000 acres have been irrigated through HEIS, conserving 95 million gallons of water and increasing farmers’ incomes by 20%. Farmers also benefited from 70% subsidy support, making this initiative one of the most impactful water-saving projects in the country.

HS Energy

Cost-Efficient Solar Solutions for Agriculture and Industries

Haji Sons Energy division focuses on introducing solar-powered solutions for agriculture and processing industries. With rising fuel costs and unreliable electricity in rural Pakistan, solar systems provide farmers and processors with a cost-effective, clean, and uninterrupted power supply. These solutions reduce dependency on conventional energy, lower operational costs, and support sustainable, climate-smart agriculture.

Kissan Gudam

Hermetic Technology to Prevent Post-Harvest Losses

Each year, Pakistan loses crops worth nearly USD 1 billion due to poor storage and handling. To address this, Haji Sons introduced Ultra-Hermetic Storage Technology in collaboration with GrainPro USA. Unlike traditional warehouses where up to 30% of produce is lost, hermetic cocoons reduce losses to nearly zero, preserving grain quality and preventing aflatoxin and pest damage. This innovation has protected crops like rice, chilies, and wheat, while significantly boosting Pakistan’s export potential by meeting strict international quality standards.

HomeGrown

Kitchen Gardening Solutions for Rural and Commercial Households

Through its Homegrown initiative, Haji Sons promotes kitchen gardening and small-scale farming for rural households, particularly engaging women and low-income families. By providing seed kits, trays, and training workshops, the program enables families to grow fresh vegetables at home, improving household nutrition, reducing food insecurity, and creating livelihood opportunities. This initiative has played a vital role in promoting climate-resilient farming at the grassroots level.
